At 0315Z ZDF reported a white vehicle was traveling E to W towards a checkpoint.  The checkpoint waved at the vehicle to stop and the vehicle accelerated.  The checkpoint fired approx 20 rounds 5.56mm and 4 round of 25mm into the vehicle.  The vehicle went into the ditch.  The vehicle had 1 occupant who was wounded.  The occupant was treated on the scene and ZDF are linking up to take the person to the nearest hospital.  Event closed at 0330Z.  ***UPDATE: LN died of wounds.
